Apple’s Passbook Just Got Access to 32 More Countries

Apple’s App Store launched in 32 additional countries last week, giving the tech specialist access to potentially millions more customers — just in time for the launch of its new digital wallet application, Passbook.

Many of the countries recently added to Apple’s retail reach are in Africa and Asia. They are:

Albania, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Fiji, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Federated States of Micronesia, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Palau, Papua New Guinea, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Zimbabwe.

Moments before debuting Passbook, Apple revealed that it had extended its lead as the largest store of credit card accounts, with one-click access to more than 400 million cards through iTunes.
