1800Flowers Tests Mobile Fingerprinting

New York-based same-day flower delivery service 1800Flowers revealed that it is using fingerprinting technology to track customer behavior at eTail East on Thursday, Mobile Commerce Daily reported.

In a panel discussion on mobile data, the company's vice president of display advertising Will Ferguson said that 1800Flowers is tracking when customers start to buy flowers on a mobile device. Ferguson noted that harnessing this data is part of his company's larger mobile strategy.
