Revolut and Chime Vie for Top Spot in Provider Ranking of Digital Banking Apps

In this edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Digital Banking Apps we see some movers and shakers changing ranks, but our tie for first keeps on as Revolut and Chime once again emerge neck and neck.

Here’s a breakdown of the top scorers in the digital banking app realm.

The Top 5

The top spot is again shared by Revolut and Chime, as both earned a the perfect score of 100 to tie for No. 1.

Likewise, Dave holds onto its position at No. 2, scoring 86 points, the same as last time around.

No. 3 is claimed by Wise, grabbing the same spot it had in the last ranking but scoring two points higher before to boast 83 points.

Empower sneaks into the No. 4 spot with 77 points, a full nine points above its score in our last reporting.

Albert lands at No. 5 with 76 points, down a spot and losing three points.

The Top 10 

MoneyLion remains at No. 6 with two less points than its last score at 55 points.

Ally climbed up a spot to No. 7, with a new score six points higher at 48 points.

No. 8 goes to Go2Bank scoring 47 points, two less than before.

Varo remains at No. 9 just two points less than its earlier score with 38 points.

Acorns gains an impressive 14 points score 37 points and claim No. 10, closing out our Top 10 digital banking apps.
