Chinese issuer China UnionPay will work with China Mobile to enable SIM-based payments facilitated by NFC technology, The Paypers reports.
The SIM-enabled devices will store sensitive consumer information, like credit card and bank account information, while China UnionPay’s QuickPass technology will power NFC payments.
