J.C. Penney’s Web Sales Slow Down Even More Than Brick-and-Mortar

Quarterly eCommerce sales at J.C. Penney decreased by 33 percent relative to the prior year, Internet Retailer says, while total sales decreased by roughly 23 percent.

By dollar volume, eCommerce sales fell to $220 million from $326 million, while overall sales decreased to $3.0 billion from $3.9 billion, the report says.
