NCR Corp. installed its first-ever “virtual teller ATMs” at branch locations of Sussex County Federal Credit Union last week.
Known officially as the APTRA Interactive Teller, the product provides bank customers with “a highly interactive, live audio and visual experience with a centrally based teller” using remote processing. On the other side, banks enjoy more flexibility with their hours of operation at the physical location, which can lead to cost savings.
Additional virtual teller ATMs will be rolled out over the next three months, the company says. More information is available in a press release issued through Business Wire.
