Realty Income Closes Monthly Income Class F Preferred Share Offering and Underwriters Exercise Over-Allotment Option

Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income), The Monthly Dividend Company®, (NYSE:O), today announced the closing of a public offering of 14,950,000 shares of the Company’s Monthly Income Class F preferred stock, including 1,950,000 shares purchased by the underwriters upon the exercise in full of their over-allotment option. Net proceeds from the offering, after underwriting discounts and offering expenses payable by the Company, will be approximately $361.7 million.

The net proceeds from this offering are being used to redeem all outstanding shares of the Company’s Class D preferred stock, with the remaining proceeds used to repay borrowings on the Company’s unsecured acquisition credit facility or for other corporate purposes.

All of the shares were sold by the Company.
