A strong majority of merchants have expressed interest in incorporating mobile solutions at the point of sale, a study from Motorola Solutions shows.
According to the survey, 66 percent of respondents are interested in pursuing mPOS solutions. The three key factors motivating their interest are: increased convenience for consumers, faster service speeds, and increased loyalty.
“As retailers battle for shoppers’ hearts and wallets, mPOS serves as a valuable tool that can help turn browsing into buying,” Motorola’s Michelle Crissey added to the survey results.
