Iliad Solutions, products testing supplier and consultancy services for card processing and payments, announced that their T3 testing platform will facilitate the UK mPayments service launch for 2014, reports Finextra. In 2012, the UK Payments Council commissioned VocaLink to create a central database that would enable customers to make peer-to-peer and peer-to-business mPayments by linking their mobile phone and bank account. The mPayments service will allow customers to make direct mPayments without having to provide a sort code or account number. The T3 platform will be deployed to most UK banks and will support the UK Faster Payments Scheme by allowing banks to test the mPayment services and simulate the behavior of the Central Database infrastructure. T3 will provide functional and non-functional service testing support, which will help with the integration process.
