The John Lewis Partnership, the operator of John Lewis department stores and Waitrose supermarkets, is the latest corporate deployer of Google Apps.
“We rolled out Google Apps for the Retail Support platform to 30,000 employees in just six weeks, enabling them to access and manage information on the go, in real time and on any device,” John Lewis CIO Paul Coby told TechWorld.
John Lewis’s 60,000 employees will now have access to tools such as Gmail, Calendar, Hangouts, Drive and Docs – among others.
Google says the retailer will join the 5 million business already using Google Apps.
