Visa Still Getting Its Kicks From FIFA

Visa has solidified its relationship with FIFA through the next decade.

The deal secures Visa’s global marketing rights for a number of FIFA events, including the 2018 and 2022 soccer World Cups in Russia and Qatar respectively.

“We’re delighted to have reached this agreement with our valued partner, Visa,” FIFA President Blatter said in a statement announcing the decision. “Visa’s huge global network and engaging consumer programs play a significant role in bringing the FIFA World Cup to all corners of the globe, and we’re delighted to have such a strong global brand by our side until at least 2022.”
