Logistics startup ShipBob on Thursday (Nov. 11) launched a B2B fulfillment suite and new application programming interface (API) capabilities that will let merchants “sell throughout the entire B2B ecosystem.”

The initial integration built on the API is with the EDI provider SPS Commerce, which allows ShipBob to fulfill orders based on each retailer’s compliance guidelines and trigger retail dropshipping and wholesale shipping to hundreds of major retailers.

Embedding Nimbla Within More Platforms Holds the Key to Boosting UK Customer Base

Recent data from the Bank of England shows that one-third of British small businesses are now more in debt than before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the bank expects more of them will collapse this year than in 2020.

This has spurred digital insurance company Nimbla to help businesses insure their invoices against customers going out of business or into serious debt. Founded in 2016, the London company has processed close to 70 million invoices worth more than £2 billion ($2.67 billion), and it has seen demand triple during the coronavirus’ continued spread.

Indian AgriTech Arya.ag Starts BNPL for Commodities

India-based agriculture service platform Arya.ag now has a BNPL service to help commodity-focused buyers get a credit up to INR 25 Indian rupees (about $33,500) with 0% interest for two weeks, then up to 2 crores.

Buyers who want to use BNPL will have to upload their financial and know your customer (KYC) details through Arya.ag’s website. The AgriTech will also provide BNPL options to warehouse rent, loan repayment and more.
