Fits.me Expands Across Europe, Gears For US Market

A London-based virtual fitting room startup, Fits.me, has raised a €5.5 million ($7.2 million) Series A round, reports TechCrunch. Fits.me investors include SmartCap, Conor Venture Partners, Fostergate Holdings and The Entrepreneurs Fund. Fits.me is a virtual fitting room designed for online clothes retailers attempting to mitigate the high return rate that is common in online shopping. It allows for customers shopping online to visualize how the garments will fit them by using the system’s robot mannequins, which are adjustable to different body shapes. Fits.me currently has offices in London, Munich and Paris with intentions to expand to markets outside Europe, including the US.
