Digital wealth management service Personal Capital has closed a $25 million funding round, according to VentureBeat.
Bill Harris, former CEO of Intuit and PayPal, currently serves as Personal Capital’s top executive. The company aims to serve as a wealth management platform for the “forgotten middle [class]” and claims to track $20 billion in assets each day.
Harris said the funding will be used for new hires and company growth, and that the company aims to be profitable by early 2015.
