New Mobile App Set To Benefit Fleet Industry

Pegasus TransTech announced earlier this week that it had launched a new smartphone app that will help fleets streamline their daily processes.

Called Transflo Mobile+, the app lets fleet drivers accept loads, update trip statuses, report accidents and claims, receive and send messages to their fleets as well as send delivery documents.

Furthermore, a settlement function lets drivers access information that shows when they have been paid for a load.

Pegasus president and CEO Frank Adelman told Fleet Owner that today’s mobile technology landscape is complex and rapidly changing, however, his organization’s Transflo Mobile+ release is meant to bring innovative solutions forward that solve emerging business challenges.

“With the exchange of real-time information, Transflo Mobile+ will help bridge the gap between the field and the office to shorten core business processes and boost efficiency,” Adelman said, adding that Pegasus is excited to pass this new functionality on to carriers and brokers.

As reported by the news source, the app interfaces with a fleet’s TMS system. This allows the app to show the driver available loads, and then the employee can accept a load, decline a load and confirm pick-up and delivery right on their smartphone.
