Foursquare Button Makes OpenTable Reservations Easier

Foursquare just made getting a reservation on OpenTable even easier —with the touch of a new button.

Foursquare has rolled out a new Button, as its called, that works by allowing users to view open tables in the Foursquare app without having to leave the app. By using deeper integration into OpenTable, the new Button feature allows users of the two apps to work better together.

This integration for Foursquare follows its partnerships that make it easier for consumers to book a spot — or service — with just the touch of a button. In June, the company teamed with Uber to allow riders to order a ride in the app without having to go into the Uber app. That same feature allowed the consumer to do so using the same feature they used to book on OpenTable.

Now, with the extra integration, Foursquare users can have the chance to find that restaurant, find a table and order a ride from Uber when the dinner is over. And to Foursquare’s benefit, that user can do so without leaving the app.
