Abha Yadav is an assistant professor at National Law University, Delhi. Prior to joining the university, she served as Associate Professor & Head School of Competition Law & Market Research at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, think tank for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India, where she led research and capacity building initiatives. She also served as the Director of the Forum of Indian Regulators (FOIR) Centre at IICA which is the knowledge and capacity building hub for the Central and State government regulators of the country. Dr. Yadav steered policy discussions, thematic discourses and enhancement of capacity building initiatives that are an integral and vibrant part of this unique Centre. She was the Editor-in-Chief of ‘Regulatory Digest’,a leading and unique newsletter for FOIR organisations. Dr. Yadav also served as Course Director of the prestigious Advanced Professional Course in Competition Law and Market Regulation. She has conceptualised, created and successfully executed four batches of the flagship Regulatory Governance course at IICA. She is faculty for Regulatory governance and architecture, Competition Law, Law and public policy, freedom of Information, Laws for women, Regulatory Impact Assessment, Labour laws etc. While pursuing her research interests, she has led thematic research projects as Principal Investigator. Prior to IICA she has teaching, research and administrative experience of more than a decade from various institutions and Universities, mainly from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi where she established the Legal Department of J.N.U. In her last tenure at J.N.U. she was Joint Registrar Legal and Central Public Information Officer of the University.
