US Bank released a YouTube video on December 16, revealing that the bank is developing an instant shopping app.
The app allows consumers to take a picture of a product in a magazine or on TV and, after searching for it, finalize a purchase. Users can also keep a database of products they wish to buy later.
“Using the eyes and ears of a mobile device, shoppers who see something they want to buy in a magazine, or hear an ad on the radio or TV, can use their mobile device to instantly capture, price and purchase the item, or save it to a wish list,” the company wrote in the video’s description.
