In an effort to bolster the online user experience for insurance health plan members, payments FinTech firm InComm Healthcare is introducing an expanded healthcare benefit center, according to a Wednesday (Nov. 17) press release. Health plans leveraging the benefit center will offer members a one-stop place to view and manage their supplemental benefits through the new website and app, according to the announcement.

Health plan members’ personalized dashboards feature an available balance, denoted by each benefit program, a transaction history and an in-network provider finder among other offerings. Participating health care members can view their customized information through MyBenefitsCenter.com

The Atlanta-based company, which serves more than 320 healthcare plans to 7 million members, provides healthcare plans with a program to allocate funds earmarked for specific benefits, including over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, healthy foods, dental, vision and hearing, transportation, in-home care, as well as incentives and rewards, according to the announcement.

“As we’ve enabled more and more health plans to offer Medicare supplemental benefits on a single benefit card, our roadmap has grown to include an online member experience that reflects this same level of efficiency and user-friendliness,” said Brian Parlotto, InComm Payments executive vice president. “The new Benefits Center will help members visualize their benefits packages and encourage them to take full advantage of all available benefits with the most possible convenience.”

InComm Healthcare’s Benefit Center is the latest in a series of recent collaborations aimed at improving access to health-related goods and services. In July, the company announced a joint effort with Convey Health Solutions to provide better access to OTC services for its health plan associates, according to PYMNTS. The partnership makes use of Miramar, Convey’s Medicare enrollment software.
