Alternative Currencies Lead Secret Service To Fight Fraud

The Secret Service is now directly communicating with local business communities in New Hampshire and Vermont due in part to the development of alternative currencies and new types of cybercrime, New Hampshire Business review reported on August 23.

    The announcement came from Secret Service special agent Holly Fraumeni, who oversees the agency’s functions in the two New England states. Fraumeni said her agency is looking to increase awareness of POS terminal fraud, among other goals.
