French Parliament Focuses On eBanking Info

According to eCommerce Facts.com, 16 French parliament members are in favor of adding a new provision to a consumer bill that would inhibit the use and exchange of authentication data in online banking.

This request was a response to several complaints in the National Observatory regarding a rise in banking fraud and online payments when shopping on the web. The French Parliament hopes to solve the problem by introducing a technology already being used in other sectors or foreign countries. They want to use a device that has already proven to be effective.
