RAKBANK Customers Are Not Affected By ATM Heist

National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah, also known as RAKBANK, one of the banks involved in the $45 million ATM heist, announced that none of its customers lost money from the cyber fraud, reports CPI Financial.

RAKBANK’s CEO, Graham Honeybill, said, “We are given to understand that the overall fraud encompassed a number of banks not only in the Middle East but in the USA and other countries. The bank can confirm that none of its customers suffered any financial loss as a result of this fraud.”

According to CPI financial, RAKBANK had potential losses of AED 17.4 million.
