Wells Fargo Joins Isis mWallet Pilot

Wells Fargo’s customers will be able to take part in the pilot test of the Isis mobile wallet, the company announced in a December 12 press release.

The bank joins American Express and JPMorgan Chase in the ever-expanding Isis pilot. The mWallet was established by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless.

Peter Ho, Wells Fargo’s manager for digital payments, said that the move made sense for the company’s customers as they use mobile channels more frequently.

“”Our customers lead mobile lives and their ability to pay for things should reflect that fact. During this pilot phase with Isis, we will test and learn with customers who want to be on the leading edge of this technology,” Ho said.
