World Of Warcraft Begins Testing In-Game Payments

In a message posted in a chat forum for its popular MMORPG World of Warcraft on July 9, California-based video game developer Blizzard said it is testing in-game payments using real money, BBC reports.

    The first item that can be bought with real currency is the Enduring Elixir of Wisdom potion, which is only available to players using a character of level 85 or greater. It is not yet clear when the in-game payments service would expand, but the media outlet suggested the first rollout may occur in Asia.
