As B2B technology and corporate accountancy solutions firm Sage continues its Sage Summit event, new services and innovations continue to roll out that aim to strengthen the B2B community — and some of those innovations are coming straight from Sage itself.
On Wednesday (July 29) the firm announced a new mobile app for business customers that links with the Sage View business intelligence dashboard.
The app is designed specifically for accountants, allowing them to manage their business clients on the go, anywhere, anytime, the company said. The tool offers key performance indicators and alerts, allowing accountants to strengthen their corporate relationships “by providing actionable business advice based on real-time financial data, accessed from the palm of their hand,” the company said in its announcement.
The launch of the B2B app was revealed in conjunction with two new Sage partnerships — one with eFileCabinet and another with ICB Global.
According to Sage, the app marks the first in a new series of services set to be announced as the summer continues. “These are a few of the many installments included in the Sage roadmap of forthcoming technology innovations, driven by customer demand and rapidly co-created with accountants,” the company stated.
Looking ahead, Sage said it would roll out Sage Match, another mobile app that matches corporate clients with accountants; Sage Value, an app that aids accountants’ pricing practices and Sage Small Firm Payroll, a solution to help accountants and bookkeepers pay employees.
“We’re absolutely committed to putting customers first and helping our accountants put their customers first as well,” said Sage Global Vice President of Product Marketing for Accountants Jennifer Warawa during the Sage Summit event. “This summer’s partnership and product announcements show that we’re constantly working with our customers to find the best products that suit their needs.”
