Paymerang Teams With ECI on Invoice Automation

Paymerang, ECI, invoice automation

ECI Software Solutions will make use of a partnership with Paymerang to provide a cloud-based invoice automation and payment automation solution for users, the company announced Wednesday (Jan. 5).

It will be available for the various industries ECI services, including manufacturing and construction. ECI customers will be able to automate manual tasks and help to save thousands of hours, be safer and get better strategic solutions for finance teams.

ECI’s users will also be able to read, approve, post and archive invoices more simply, pay vendors in an electronic manner and automate the accounts payable (AP) process.

“We’re impressed with what Paymerang has built over the years and are thrilled to work cooperatively with them for accounts payable automation for our mutual customers,” said Brian Bowerfind, president of NET1. “Our cultures align well, and we’re both deeply committed to helping our clients succeed in this increasingly competitive world.”

Paymerang CEO Nasser Chanda said the relationship “provides ECI customers with easy access to our award-winning accounts payable automation solutions that they can implement in a couple of hours.”

“We’re ready to get to work to bring the power of electronic workflows and AI [artificial intelligence] to ECI customers,” Chanda said.

PYMNTS writes that Paymerang debuted a new invoice automation software in December 2020, which helped organizations with efficiency, accuracy and ways of doing away with manual processes.

At the time, Chanda said that the solution could help accounting professionals get more visibility more easily for invoices while also helping companies going paperless.

Chanda added that it could cut down on errors via automation, and that it would be a helpful aid for companies wanting to be “more efficient, secure and profitable.” The service was debuted at the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia in late 2020.
