Elavon is a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank and a provider of payment processing and servicing solutions to small businesses and enterprise clients across the United States, Europe and Canada, per the release.
“By combining Elavon’s payments expertise and global scale with the trusted capabilities of U.S. Bank, we can help bring secure, reliable payment solutions into SAP applications businesses use every day,” Elavon CEO Wally Mlynarski said in the release. “This supports our strategy to make payments more connected, streamline operations and help clients grow.”
When Elavon named Mlynarski as its CEO in March, Mark Runkel, U.S Bank’s head of payments: merchants and institutional, said the new CEO would play a critical role in the company’s growth and delivery of scalable, tech-led and embedded payments innovation.
In July, Elavon and Wix announced that they partnered to enhance the Elavon Business Solutions (EBS) platform by combining Elavon’s small business payments/software capabilities with Wix’s website creation and unified commerce technology.
In some other recent moves, Elavon renewed its partnership with accounting, financial, human resources and payroll technology provider Sage to continue delivering payment solutions to Sage customers across the United Kingdom and Ireland; expanded its All-In-One payments platform across North America to help businesses deliver commerce experiences in-store, on mobile and online; and launched the Elavon Business Solutions platform to help small businesses start, operate and grow.
Meanwhile, SAP announced in May that it launched its “Autonomous Enterprise” initiative to help businesses integrate AI agents into their operations. The company said this program focuses on a new unified platform and specialized tools intended to automate end-to-end tasks across various corporate functions.
