FinTech platform Adyen will be used by eCommerce company Radial to streamline and consolidate payment offerings in various health, beauty, apparel and luxury brands, a press release said Tuesday (May 24).

The release said Adyen for Platforms offers “a global and agile payment solution” letting businesses integrate payments into their operations without extra complexity or resource complaints. Platforms can use Adyen to expand, manage risk and gather customer insights from one place.

Radial director of payments, Dave Roessler, said Adyen has helped the company support more payment types, the release said. Brian Dammemir, president of North America with Adyen, said Radial will help deliver better eCommerce experiences.

“Their selection of Adyen shows that Adyen for Platforms can be used to deliver deep payments capabilities for even the most sophisticated use cases. By continuing to focus on bundling all aspects of business into one simple-to-use platform, including payments powered by Adyen, Radial will create an even better experience for their clients.”

Adyen has expanded a partnership with Afterpay, the Australian buy now pay later (BNPL) firm, which will help it grow across markets in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Europe, U.S. and the U.K., according to PYMNTS.

This comes after the companies initially partnered in 2018, with several Adyen merchants including MandM Direct, Revolution Beauty and Superdry using Afterpay to offer the BNPL payment option.

PYMNTS previously reported that Afterpay had been one of the top five BNPL apps as of a recent ranking, behind Affirm and Klarna.

“Holiday season 2021 was the holiday for BNPL with consumers using Afterpay to pay responsibly for their holiday gifts,” said Zahir Khoja, general manager, Afterpay Global Platform and Partnerships. “Our partnership with Adyen is allowing us to bring a better way to pay to millions of shoppers across multiple regions around the world.”
