CashStar recently announced major enhancements to its CashStar Exchange platform, which provides secure, reliable, real-time access to the brands large gift card distributors use to drive business.
According to a press release, updates include real-time physical card activation, an enhanced security framework and streamlined ordering through the web portal.

The new capabilities include enhancements to the Exchange API, allowing partners to store inactive physical cards and activate them just in time for delivery to the recipient. Additionally, the upgraded API will give partners the ability to create, load and activate digital gift cards in real time when recipients are ready to claim them — which will reduce risks and costs — as well as an enhanced security framework and improved CashStar Exchange portal.
CashStar Exchange offers distribution partners one source and integration point for access to more than 250 brands across a wide range of verticals, including the largest selection of digital gift cards. Partners can order cards system-to-system through the real-time API or through the online portal, with both allowing for flexible delivery options including email, links and codes.
