ParkHub, which provides parking tech for B2B services, has acquired parking payment management platform CurbTrac, a press release says.

“ParkHub is dedicated to the notion that our industry’s advancement relies on collaboration,” said George Baker, Sr., ParkHub’s founder and CEO. “We are delighted to have reached a position where we can nurture innovative solutions that support our company’s aim and work with forward-thinking partners like Charley to deliver them to the public.”

With the payment, ParkHub will adopt CurbTrac’s software and the latter company’s CEO, Charley DeBow, will now join the company’s team and will help direct growth.

The release breaks down what both companies offer. ParkHub allows for businesses to implement subscription-based revenues and access flexible payment options and more streamlined operations, along with data insights in real time. Its technology has been utilized by event venues, universities and other such places.

Meanwhile, CurbTrac has been used to centralize payment data into one lone platform. Because of that, various businesses have been able to use it to offer numerous different parking options. The solution will be able to work with ParkHub’s by way of allowing for more operational efficiency.

“Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for CurbTrac, and I am thrilled to be joining the ParkHub team,” said Charley DeBow, CEO of CurbTrac. “Our collaboration will allow CurbTrac to leverage ParkHub’s first-class resources to refine our service, accelerate our growth, and enhance our clients’ experience.”

Parking is one of the many areas of life receiving updates as of late, with the integration of Google Maps with Google Pay looking to give users the ability to cover highway tolls, parking and public transportation, among other things, through a collaboration with mobile payment services Passport and ParkMobile. That will allow for more ways for people to pay for parking.
