    GrubMarket Acquires Farmigo to Help Farmers Embrace Tech

    Silicon Valley startup GrubMarket is acquiring the community-supported agriculture (CSA) software firm Farmigo to help farmers make expanded digital inroads and grow their customer base, as announced on Tuesday (Sept. 14). Farmigo’s CSA software will be integrated into GrubMarket’s suite of products. Ultimately, GrubMarket envisions extending its software platform for the B2C side of the American food supply chain industry.

    MarginEdge Closes Oversubscribed $18M Series B

    Restaurant management platform MarginEdge closed an oversubscribed, $18 million Series B funding round to help restaurants better navigate today’s fast-changing marketplace, labor shortages, and disrupted supply chain, the company announced in a press release on Tuesday (Sept. 14). The company’s CEO and Co-founder Bo Davis, a restaurant owner himself, said his goal with MarginEdge was to help operators find success.

    Buyk Takes Manhattan With 15-Minute Grocery Delivery

    Super-fast grocery delivery service Buyk launched in Manhattan on Tuesday (Sept. 14), offering delivery in 15 minutes or less. Buyk has its sights set on expanding throughout the five boroughs by the end of this year and to operate across the biggest metro areas in the country in 2022.
