Nordstrom Adds Cuvée Beauty Haircare Products

Nordstrom

Luxury haircare brand Cuvée Beauty on Monday (Oct. 4) said it has signed a retail distribution deal that will bring its “low-maintenance” products into all Nordstrom stores across the U.S. and to the high-end fashion retailer’s website.

Nordstrom will now feature Cuvée Beauty’s full line of products online, and will highlight six of the brand’s top sellers — Air Dry Mist, Champagne Texturizing Spray, shampoo, conditioner, Blowout Bombe and Volumizing Mist — at its in-store Best Tressed haircare towers through Nov. 30.

“We are honored and excited to be partnering with Nordstrom, a leader in cultivating indie beauty brands, and couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce Cuvée Beauty to a new audience,” said Courtney Sheahan, president of Cuvée Beauty, in the joint announcement. “The partnership was a perfect fit, as Nordstrom truly shares our mission of offering carefully curated, luxurious products that enhance the overall beauty experience. We look forward to seeing this partnership come to life, and can’t wait for Nordstrom’s guests to experience our brand.”

The entire Cuvée Beauty line is made with what the company calls “the Cuvée Complex,” a propriety blend of ingredients including grape seed extract from the Champagne region of France, ceramides, truffle extracts and pea proteins.

In August, Nordstrom executives said they were optimistic about the second half of 2021 as consumers continue to shop for new clothing to wear to events and social occasions, though sales remain below levels seen in 2019.

The company’s full-year revenue is expected to grow by at least 35% compared to 2020, an increase from Nordstrom’s previous projections of at least 25% revenue growth.

Nordstrom continues to employ the shop-within-a-shop approach, which has seen a resurgence in recent months as retailers look for ways to get consumers back into stores rather than having them rely solely or primarily on digital sales and curbside pickup.
