Paychex Flex Retains Lead in Payroll App Provider Ranking

Paychex Flex

In this edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Payroll apps, there is a substantial difference in scores between our top 5 and our lower 10.

Some highlights include our movers and shakers gaining ranking slots from the previous assessment. There is a new name coming in at the bottom of this ranking and even an app with a 35-point difference from its previous score.

Let’s look at the rest of the changes.

The Top 5

Leading with a perfect score of 100 in the ranking is Paychex Flex.

Paycor as before is holding down No. 2 but with two fewer points for a score of 92.

Rippling previously stole the third spot from Alliance MyPay, but this time around, Alliance MyPay has a tied control of No. 3. Alliance MyPay scored 84 points, one less than last time, and Ripple is down four points, scoring 84 as well.

Gaining a new slot at No. 4 is RUN Powered by ADP, which is up five slots from the last ranking. It has a score of 73, which is 35 more points than before, making it a true mover and shaker.
