New details have emerged regarding the ongoing legal troubles of Japan-based bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox, TechCrunch reported on August 23.
In addition to the $2.9 million confiscated by the Department of Homeland Security from the service’s Dwolla account that was previously reported, the media outlet said $2.1 million from its Wells Fargo accounts were also frozen.
