Asian Wholesale Distributor Gets B2B E-Commerce Makeover

NetSuite has landed a partnership with Bloom & Grown, a leading Asian wholesale distributor of baby, infant and maternity products, to help the company tackle its B2B E-commerce side of the business, according to an announcement from NetSuite Thursday (Oct. 30).

Through this new partnership, the cloud-based financial service will be using NetSuite OneWorld to use its strengths of power the core business of Bloom & Grown by providing it with assistance in B2B E-commerce, but also offer real-time analytics and reporting of profits, inventory management, data consistency, cost savings, time savings and even staff morale.

“NetSuite’s complete and scalable cloud solution allows our business to access all of our core functions, wherever we happen to be in the world and in any currency—we could not run our business without it,” Peter Deacon, director of Bloom & Grow said in the news release. “Our biggest KPI of the whole deployment is the ease and speed at which we can immediately add a subscription for a new employee and have them using the system within the same day. We can also do the same with new customers via our new B2B website. It is a vast improvement from our previous capabilities and provides the ideal scalable and cost effective solution for a rapidly expanding global business like ours.”

Looking specifically at the B2B E-commerce angle, NetSuite offers a SuiteCommerce site that will power Bloom & Grow’s B2B E-commerce website. The previous website, according to the release, lacked functionality, had no E-commerce abilities and wasn’t allowing the company to grow. The new site, however will give customers an online shopping experience and can also be customized by whatever region the shopper in coming from. Stock availability is also in real-time data so customers know the products they are ordering are in stock.

Companies like Bloom & Grown can use NetSuite CRM capabilities and mobilize its sales teams across remote regions to process live sales orders onsite at customers’ retail stores, according to the release. NetSuite CRM mobile solution supports a range of mobile devices — including iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows phones — that allows everyone in an organization to get instant access to information anytime and from anywhere.

“NetSuite has taken the bumps out of the road for our business. It allows us to trade more efficiently, more effectively and all at a lower cost,” Beacon said. “We have total peace of mind that NetSuite offers us complete data integrity to make informed business decisions and we are very excited about the future possibilities for our business using additional NetSuite functionalities. It is core to our business and a system that we completely rely on.”
