Finance Automation Platform Ramp, Employee Manager Rippling Team on Employee Spend, Cards 

Corporate card and finance automation platform Ramp has teamed up with employee management platform Rippling to streamline onboarding and improve employee spend, according to a press release. 

The partnership will also endeavor to boost the automation of finance options, the release stated. 

Carahsoft, Coupa Partner on Spend Management for the Public Sector 

Carahsoft Technology Corp. will be partnering with spend management company Coupa to boost the availability of spend management tech in the public sector, according to a press release Thursday (Sept. 23). 

Coupa allows organizations and federal agencies such as the U.S. Postal Service to use a user interface for their transactional spend for things like procurement, invoicing, expense reporting and pay. 

Cash Flow Needs Have Made B2B Automation ‘Top Priority’ for CFOs 

Corcentric President and Chief Operating Officer Matt Clark told PYMNTS that B2B modernization is a high priority for chief financial officers at companies of all sizes. 

The adoption of digital solutions by firms to improve their accounts receivable and accounts payable has been accelerating, he said, and that acceleration has been taking a cue from the streamlined, intuitive interactions that are the hallmarks of B2C commerce. 

EngageSmart Soars 40% in Trading Debut, Reflecting High Demand for Business Payments Solutions 

For EngageSmart CEO Bob Bennett, “nirvana” comes when a company has 100% automated billing and 100% auto-payment of bills. 

The $5 billion Boston-based software company serves more than 68,000 small- to medium-sized business customers and more than 3,000 enterprise-size clients.
