Ebury Debuts Program To Ease Chinese Supplier Relations

Ebury’s new Parallel Forward program will help to ease trade with Chinese suppliers, a company blog post said on Monday (May 10). The program will work to help western businesses establish long-term supply chain relationships in China and will further the company’s goal of lubricating global business flows. Transactions will be simplified, the post said, and while paying in Chinese yuan renminbi (CNY) has benefits and has become more common in supply chains, challenges remain.

BluePallet Opens Doors To Chemical Distribution Marketplace

BluePallet, a company backed by the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), announced on Monday (May 10) that it has exited stealth mode to launch its digital marketplace. BluePallet bills itself as “the world’s first market network that gives verified industrial buyers and sellers control over their supply chain,” supported by the NACD’s network of 400-plus members and affiliates. BluePallet says its market network is “modernizing global chemical sales” at a time when America’s nearly $1 trillion chemical shipment industry is trailing others in digital commerce. So far, 37 NACD distributors are taking part in the platform.
