A growing number of B2B eCommerce marketplaces have stepped up to meet the unique needs of Africa’s businesses. The most recent entrant to the space, Dooka, is looking to streamline corporate procurement and promote intra-African trade by tackling supply chain inefficiencies that have inhibited growth for the continent’s businesses.

Ambry Hill, eComchain Enable B2B eCommerce for Aircraft Parts Sellers

Software company Ambry Hill Technologies and eCommerce implementation company eComchain have partnered to provide sellers of aircraft parts with a B2B eCommerce storefront solution as part of the VistaSuite business management software. Ambry Hill Founder and President Paul Stewart said: “The integration between eComchain and VistaSuite is powerful because it enables VistaSuite customers of all sizes to establish an online storefront with minimal effort.”

Blackline Adds Credit Risk Assessment to Financial Operations Platform

Financial operations management platform Blackline has added a new Customer Attractiveness Scoring feature that gives firms real-time insights into the risk profile and behavior of their customers. Blackline Managing Director and Head of Global Accounts Receivable Andy Lilley said: “Given evolving global economic conditions, companies are under increasing pressure to maximize their cash positions, meaning they are spending more time scrutinizing cash flow metrics.”

HSBC, Trade Ledger Launch Digital Receivables Finance Tool

HSBC has launched a new digital receivables finance solution called Digital RF that is built with the London-based Lending-as-a-Service FinTech Trade Ledger’s platform. HSBC Chief Growth Officer, Global Trade and Receivables Vinay Mendonca said: “Digitizing our Receivables Finance approval process makes it simpler, faster and more secure to apply for working capital.”
