TanServ Launches 3 Models of B2B AR Automation Software

TanServ has launched B2B accounts receivable (AR) automation software for businesses of all sizes.

The new Inebura is available as a ready-to-use software-as-a-service (SaaS) model for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), an industry-customized SaaS model for mid-market entities and a fully customizable option for large enterprises, TanServ said in a Wednesday (March 15) press release.

“For over a decade we have been managing accounts receivable function for many Fortune 500 clients, and Inebura is a result of all that learning, experience and insights,” TanServ Founder and CEO Sridhar Kuchibhottlla said in the release. “Inebura can help achieve significant and sustainable improvements in [days sales outstanding (DSOs)], cashflow, credit risk and profitability.”

PYMNTS research has found that firms that replace manual AR processes with automation in the areas of payment acceptance, the credit check process and collection management get paid much faster.

In fact, about two-thirds of firms that have automated their AR processes report that they have benefited from improved DSO, and about half say they have achieved lower delinquency rates, according to the “B2B Payments Innovation Readiness Playbook,” a PYMNTS and American Express collaboration based on a survey of 460 small to large businesses.

Firms also benefit from using technology to track customers’ credit histories and automate payment acceptance, allowing them to spend less time manually verifying information and receive payments faster, the survey found.

The new Inebura software provides readily available real-time data across the organization’s invoice-to-cash cycle, providing an always-on, single-window view of open receivables, according to the press release.

It also simplifies the billing and collections process by identifying factors that cause delays in payments; attaching purchase orders, bills and proof of delivery notes to invoices, and sending out aging statements, payment reminders and other communications, the release said.

“Efficient AR function is mission critical for overall financial health of any enterprise, and unfortunately, it still has high dependence on manual processes,” TanServ Chief Operating Officer Aravind Gangadharan said in the release. “Inebura has been designed to reduce the inefficiencies that come with manual processes, remove operational obstacles and speed up the process that actually brings cash into the organization.”
