Convenience Store Retailer EG America Teams With Doordash

Convenience, coffee, food and fuel retailer EG America is partnering with on-demand delivery service platform Doordash to bring fast at-home delivery of convenience staples to consumers across the country.

EG America offers its own Farmhouse Blend coffee and brands including Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint, Turkey Hill and Tom Thumb, according to a press release on Monday (Sept. 19).

More than 800 EG stores are now available on Doordash, and more than 1,300 EG convenience store locations are planning to be integrated by the end of October.

Headquartered in the U.K. and founded in 2001 by the Issa family, the EG Group is a convenience retailer with established partnerships with global brands. The business provides grocery and merchandise, food service and fuel and employs over 50,000 people in more than 6,300 sites across the U.S., U.K. and Ireland, Continental Europe and Australia.

DoorDash was founded in 2013 and now connects local businesses in 27 countries across the world. The company is also working to build infrastructure for local commerce and enable merchants to succeed in the convenience economy.
