Uno Pizzeria & Grill Adopts Paytronix Tech To Boost Insights, Ordering

Digital guest experience platform Paytronix will now be partnering with Uno Pizzeria & Grill, per a Wednesday (August 18) announcement.

The Chicago-based restaurant brand installed Paytronix’s complete guest engagement platform.

Paytronix will provide Uno Pizzeria & Grill with a set of its features that includes order and delivery, data insights and loyalty. The Paytronix update will give Uno an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered way to offer guest experiences from order to payment.

Regina Jerome, senior vice president of information technology for Uno, said the use of Paytronix’s tech will see a shift away from the company’s old ways of offering transactional coupons via email and would help the company better assess what its customers want.

“We’re also gaining the intelligence behind our guests’ preferences, so we can target them with the right offer at the right time with the goal of staying top of mind for them whenever they have a pizza occasion,” Jerome said.

Uno noted that it has consistently seen the totals for online checks be 10 percent higher than those placed on-site since implementing Paytronix.

“Paytronix has enabled us to combine ordering and loyalty in one place, and adding the Data Insights program is one of the smartest things we’ve done,” said Erik Frederick, CEO of Uno Restaurants. “When it comes to technology, it’s important not only to look at how it functions, but also to have the AI tools that help our team gain a deeper understanding of the data in a way that makes us even more successful.”

Paytronix was also recently implemented its services for KC Hopps, the Kansas City restaurant group that owns Stroud’s.

The services were implemented with Stroud’s new takeout-only establishments, Stroud’s Express. Opened because of the COVID-19 pandemic’s shift away from eating indoors, these locations are in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Mission, Kansas.

With Paytronix’s online ordering capability, users can now earn points and redeem them for free food.
