Shoplazza Adds PayerMax Collection Solutions to eCommerce Platform

Singapore-based global payments solution PayerMax and Canada-based global eCommerce platform Shoplazza have partnered to provide Shoplazza merchants with payment collection processes and other FinTech services.

With this partnership, PayerMax’s collection, disbursement and unified fund management solutions will be integrated into Shoplazza’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) eCommerce platform, according to a Wednesday (Oct. 12) press release emailed to PYMNTS.

These solutions will help merchants collect payments from unbanked buyers in emerging markets, deal with regulatory challenges and manage market risk, according to the release.

“Through global cross-border payment collection, multi-account management, fund management and other compliant and reliable solutions, the partnership between PayerMax and Shoplazza will help global merchants and resolve the downsides of providing multi payment gateways while still offering shoppers flexible and [localized] payment methods,” the release stated.

PayerMax’s payment solutions cover 350 payment methods, 40 currencies and 50 countries, including ones in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe, according to the release.

Shoplazza’s platform aids in the creation of direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands and both B2B and B2C eCommerce businesses and is used by 360,000 merchants that serve customers from 150 markets, per the release.

“This partnership will allow Shoplazza merchants and their shoppers to enjoy a smooth, efficient and secure payment experience, and provide the support they need in an uncertain global trade landscape,” the release said.

This news follows Shoplazza’s announcements of two other partnerships.
