Stephanie Meltzer-Paul From Inspire Brands Joins Mastercard to Lead Loyalty Services

Mastercard has named Stephanie Meltzer-Paul to lead loyalty services, including benefits, rewards and platforms, for global issuers and merchants, according to a press release on Monday (March 14).

A consumer loyalty and digital marketing innovator, Meltzer-Paul comes to Mastercard with 25 years of experience. She was most recently with Inspire Brands, where she was part of Inspire’s acquisition of Dunkin’ Brands and promoted to lead product, strategy and growth for loyalty, digital and customer relations for the portfolio of Inspire brands. 

She was the head of loyalty and digital services for Dunkin Brands, membership and engagement for BJ’s Wholesale Club, and global loyalty marketing for Starwood Resorts. 

“Loyalty today is about delivering meaningful digital and in-person consumer engagement,” said Raj Seshadri, president of data and services, Mastercard. 

“Stephanie has a proven track record building loyalty programs that drive impact and action,” Seshadri said.

Meltzer-Paul was named to the 2021 Brand Innovators Women to Watch List and the 2020 Nation’s Restaurant News annual Power List. She is also the recipient of several marketing industry awards.

Mastercard became the exclusive payments network for a co-branded credit card with Instacart and Chase. 

The new Instacart Mastercard is a World Elite Mastercard. Cardholders will have access to World Elite Mastercard benefits, which include complimentary concierge service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and access to Mastercard Priceless Experiences.

Users of the new card will also have the opportunity to earn accelerated points on purchases across the Instacart marketplace, which includes over 700 national, regional and local supermarkets and retailers.

Adyen, AptPay, Checkout.com, Cognizant, Fenige, Green Dot, Ingo Money, KyckGlobal, Opentech, OpenText, Oracle, PayPal, Stripe, TabaPay, Transcard and Verestro are the initial partners chosen to join the Mastercard Send Partner Program.

The program is intended to help banks, FinTech providers and system integrators facilitate secure real-time digital payments to their customers.
