Shopify Merchants Now Can Integrate sticky.io Subscriptions App into Stores

Shopify

Ecommerce platform sticky.io, which provides services for subscription management and recurring billing, will be offering its services with Shopify, a press release said Monday (May 23).

The new app integrates with Shopify and will let merchants configure flexible subscription offers, with customizable billing and dynamic discounting.

The sticky.io platform helps merchants get new products and promotions to market. It gives more flexibility in subscription models and intervals.

The release said brands can also offer mixed-cart checkouts so customers can buy a variety of subscription and single-sale products in the same transaction.

Access to the merchant portal will offer more ways for companies to make money, the release said.

And the release added that Shopify merchants will be able to access a variety of new features like new billing models, subscription management, a new consumer portal, email notifications for business needs and subscription analytics to track new subscribers and other metrics.

“Ecommerce merchants of all sizes are increasingly turning to the recurring subscription model to increase customer lifetime value,” said Brian Bogosian, sticky.io’s president and CEO. “We are excited to join the Shopify ecosystem with a natively built subscription solution that helps merchants quickly generate recurring revenue while providing their customers with an integrated checkout experience.”

Shopify also recently started allowing more cryptocurrency payments with an enabling of Crypto.com Pay on online storefronts, PYMNTS wrote.

The report says Crypto.com would waive the 0.5% settlement fee for a month on any transactions for Shopify merchants signing up for the service until June 30.

Crypto.com Pay lets merchants get instant payments from users of the site without transaction fees, and customers can get up to 10% in crypto-cashback Pay Rewards if they check out with the Cronos token.

Merchants will be able to access tokens like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cronos, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin and others.
