Popular mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution provider Square’s card readers are allowing bicycle-powered rickshaw workers to charge exorbitant fees for services, a report from The New York Post revealed.
Reports have surfaced that some passengers have been charged as much as $720 for using rickshaws because of what some the call lax protections offered by the devices. Read the full report here for more details.
