Grovara Broadens Reach of B2B Online Marketplace

B2B marketplace Grovara is expanding its global footprint to increase its number of users and orders, according to a company press release Wednesday (July 27).

Grovara uses automation to streamline wholesale exports and imports online, the release stated. The company has increased its number of registered users year over year, including international buyers, by six times and American food and beverage brands by three times, while total orders on the marketplace have also increased by fourfold.

“Brands and buyers are increasingly seeing the value of our platform to manage and grow their exports and imports channels because of the easy and transparent experience…,” said Grovara CEO Abu Kamara in the release. “All of the brands on Grovara are export-ready, with all the documentations, support and commitment to launch and grow international, while our buyers are vetted and ideal partners to import these consumer brands.”

Earlier this year, Grovara opened offices in Mexico and Dubai and made its first sale to mainland China. The company said in the release that it expects to continue its growth in Latin America and the Middle East and increase its growth in the Asia-Pacific area. Grovara offers more than 1,000 products.

In January, Grovara debuted the first digital Pallet-Builder for food and beverage exporting, saying the platform lets international buyers place orders and save time.

Grovara’s Pallet-Builder offers “instant” calculations and a more interactive, visual display of the layers needed to fill a pallet and process an order. The algorithm-driven tool also reconciles product dimensional data and shipment temperature requirements with more specific details.

The company works with brands to put together data points around the brand’s product and case dimensions. The Grovara platform also allows for importing with a few clicks, allowing for better discoverability, documentation and visibility.
