Capital One has announced that it is pulling out of Isis mobile wallet testing, NFC World reported on September 16. The Virginia-based card issuer was one of Isis’ three founding members.
“We have gained valuable insights from our customers who were among the first to pay with the Isis Mobile Wallet,” the card issuer said in a September 16 statement. “We continue to engage with Isis on the future of mobile payments.”
While Capital One said its involvement in the test would end soon, it did not give a specific timeline for its withdrawal. For more on the announcement, click here.
