Punchh Launches New Tool For Merchants

Punchh, which has taken the idea of punch cards used at restaurants and turned them into an app to be used at the point of sale, has launched a new customer segmentation tool, according to a TechCrunch report.

The tool will give restaurant owners the ability to segment customers based on their food or drink preference. If a customer likes tequila, for example, he or she will get a discount on their next margarita. Restaurants will be able to get a better idea of what their customers are buying and build their campaigns from there, the company said.
