The new agents include Guided Intake, which is a conversational interface that walks employees through a policy-checked purchase request; Order Autopilot, which proactively codes line items in an order as it is being built by drawing from the organization’s own purchasing history; and a rebuilt, agent-powered accounts payable (AP) engine, which matches and codes invoices against an organization’s purchase and vendor history, according to the release.

Each agent is purpose-built for procurement, learns from the context already in the user’s business, and gets smarter each time it’s used, per the release.

“We’re not layering AI features on top of software; we’re using each organization’s own spend data to provide personalized context and take action across their intake-to-pay journey,” Procurify CEO Chad Gaydos said in the release. “When your procurement platform knows how you buy, your finance and procurement teams stop managing the process and start multiplying their impact.”

The PYMNTS Intelligence report “The Investment Impact of GenAI Operating Standards on Enterprise Adoption” found that about 73% of enterprises are now using or considering using generative AI to improve procurement operations.

The adoption levels of generative AI vary by the size of the firm. Among larger enterprises generating $10 billion or more in revenue, 14% are using generative AI, and 71% are considering it. Among firms generating between $5 billion and $10 billion, 7% are using the technology, and 64% are considering it. Among those generating at least $1 billion and less than $5 billion, 33% are using generative AI, and about 39% are considering it, per the report.

When Procurify added an analytics feature to its platform in May 2025, Gaydos said in a press release that a combination of centralized company spending data and AI-powered analysis helps finance and procurement teams make faster and better decisions.

“It extends our use of AI across the entire spend lifecycle—from extracting data from receipts, contracts and invoices, to surfacing up-to-date insights that drive smarter, faster decisions,” Gaydos said. “This is the future of agile finance—and we’re building it today.”
