Corporate travel technology firm Sabre Corporation provides businesses with its GetThere online booking tool, a solution for businesses to ensure corporate travelers adhere to company policy while on business trips.

In an announcement on Wednesday (May 11), Coupa said it now integrates its own solution into the GetThere platform, meaning companies booking corporate travel through GetThere can now connect the data from those plans into Coupa’s expense management solution, providing a seamless connection between travel procurement and spend management.

“One of the greatest pain points for business travelers is the time-consuming process of creating expense reports,” stated Coupa Vice President of Technology Partnerships and Corporate Development J.J. Freitag in a statement. “The Coupa Expense Management connection to GetThere will reduce friction and make the process virtually effortless for travelers everywhere.”

In a separate statement, Sabre Senior Vice President of Traveler Experience Clinton Anderson pointed to the cost savings corporates can obtain by integrating their travel booking and expense management solutions.

“Coupa’s focus on the user experience fits well with Sabre’s commitment to offer consumer-grade interfaces to our B2B customers and their travelers,” he said.
